Terms of Service

Last updated: July 7, 2026

These Terms of Service govern use of Community Fiber internet service and related websites, signup flows, support forms, equipment, and account services. By ordering, activating, paying for, or using service, you agree to these terms and any applicable plan, order, billing, acceptable use, privacy, and open internet disclosures.

Service Availability

Service is available only in eligible areas and may require final engineering, installation, account, and eligibility review. Address qualification, advertised plans, pricing, promotional offers, and installation timing may change before service is activated.

Speeds and Performance

Plans are provisioned for the service level ordered, but internet speeds are not guaranteed. Actual performance may vary based on equipment, Wi-Fi conditions, device capability, inside wiring, distance from equipment, number of connected devices, internet destination, network conditions, maintenance, outages, and other factors outside Community Fiber's control.

Billing and Payment

Service is billed according to the selected plan and account terms. Charges may include monthly service, equipment, installation, activation, taxes, fees, optional services, paper statement charges, late fees, and other applicable charges. Promotional pricing may require ACH AutoPay and e-bill enrollment and may change if eligibility requirements are not maintained.

Equipment

Equipment provided by Community Fiber or NPTech remains company property unless otherwise stated in writing. Customers are responsible for reasonable care of equipment and may be charged for lost, damaged, unreturned, or misused equipment.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate account and service address information, maintaining safe access for installation or service work, using the service lawfully, protecting account credentials, and ensuring that connected devices and inside networks do not harm the service or network.

Suspension or Termination

Community Fiber may suspend, restrict, or terminate service for nonpayment, misuse, safety concerns, network abuse, legal violations, equipment tampering, fraud, or violation of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. You may cancel service by contacting us, subject to payment of outstanding charges and return of company equipment.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Community Fiber and NPTech are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from service use, service interruption, performance variation, website use, installation delay, or inability to access the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
